Guided Full-Arch Overdenture Placement

Denture 4U Kit

Reasons for choosing the Denture 4U Kit

Designed for full-arch rehabilitation, the Osstem Denture 4U Kit enables the accurate placement of four to six implants with a minimally invasive, semi-permanent approach. It supports GRAFTLESS procedures, allowing immediate function with stable retention via precision-guided implant positioning.

Why It Matters for Clinicians

Full-arch overdenture cases demand precision, efficiency, and patient safety. The Osstem Denture 4U Kit equips clinicians with a reliable guided surgical system that reduces chair time, lowers anatomical risk, and leads to immediate, stable outcomes. By enabling accurate implant placement—even in complex arch shapes—with minimal nerve complication, it enhances both clinical confidence and patient satisfaction in full-mouth restorative solutions.

Key benefits

  • Guided Precision & Nerve Safety
Utilizes a surgical guide to determine implant angulation, spacing, and depth, minimizing the risk of inferior alveolar nerve damage.
  • Adaptable to Variable Arch Anatomy
Customizable guide design accommodates variations in dental arch shape and symmetry, ensuring stable and accurate implant positioning.
  • All-on-X Support with Immediate Function
Ideal for full-arch overdentures using four to six implants—facilitates immediate loading and restores function promptly.
  • Simplified Drill Protocol
Supports efficient drilling: one drill in soft bone, two drills in normal/hard bone—streamlining workflow. Osstem +2 Osstem +2

Full Arch Prosthesis is possible with 4~6 implants

  • This system allows patients with severely resorbed alveolar bone to receive a stable full arch prosthesis treatment on just 4~6 implants
  • Stable placement of implants in ordinary bone with sufficient height is also possible with the Denture 4U KIT (when using the 0º posterior guide)

Efficient stress distribution achieved with appropriate angulation of the implants

  • Tilted fixtures with maximum 45° can reduce deflection of cantilever (Denture 4U KIT provides support for tilting the fixture up to maximum 30˚)
  • More esthetic results by securing shape and volume of the Jawbone
🟦: Range for drilling

Can be used in various clinical cases

  • The guide can be freely adjusted, allowing stable positioning and surgery guidance even in cases with asymmetric dental arches and irregularly shaped arches
Surgery with full flap
Surgery with general flap

Safe surgery without nerve damage

  • Safe surgery is possible by checking the location of the inferior alveolar nerve with indicator and path checker

Semi-permanent Solution with Fixed Full-Denture

  • Re-lining, replacement of abutments and other component are all unnecessary
  • Greater patient satisfaction than conventional dentures

Surgical Sequence

※ It’s up to the clinician’s decision whether to begin with the anterior or posterior region

Step 1: Check median line by referring to labial frenum or facial and dental midline
Step 2: 1-point fixation In anterior region
Step 3: Adjust the guide for anterior/posterior arch (Implant distance, B/L angulation)
Step 4: Check location of mental foramen
Step 5: 2-point fixation in posterior region
Step 6: Drilling (Ø3.0) in posterior region
Step 7: Drilling (Ø2.2) in anterior region
Step 8: Countersink drilling in order to prevent interference from drill stoppers and dental prosthesis
Step 9: Perform drilling with Taper KIT or 122 Taper KIT to enlarge and finalize drill hole
